Avoid Divorce and Save Your Marriage

I was a child of divorce parents and I can honestly say that children are greatly affected by a divorce. Not many things can top the stress levels that come from a divorce. At one point you made a commitment to stay together for the rest of your life, so you must of thought that the person that you married was the greatest thing in the world at that time. Couples go through hard times that's a fact, but is better to avoid divorce and save your marriage.

Most couples that get divorced usually were unwilling to to forgive there partner. They continued living in the past bringing up stuff that the other had done and was not able to forgive them for it and it eventually led to a divorce. You must be willing to truly forgive in order to save your marriage. You cannot just say I forgive you and that's it you must mean it or it will continue to come up during an argument and and lead to a breakup. Forgiving someone does mean that you are weak but it shows how strong that you really are.

Can I Save My Marriage: Little Things Can Make A Big Difference

It is very sad to see couples that still love each other but can't seem to be able to keep their relationship on the right course. Some consider divorce rather than going through a struggle of trying to save their marriage. Depending on the situation almost all marriages can be saved if both parties are willing to work on the problems that are causing so much trouble. If there is kids involved you really need to consider the affects that a divorce will have on them mentally.

Marriage is a beautiful partnership shared by two people. The key word is Partnership. It takes both of you to make a marriage work, one can't do it alone. In order to have a healthy marriage each individual has to work equally as hard to keep the fire alive that allows us to want and desire our partner. When couples are no longer attracted to each other a break up is right around the corner. I am not talking just about physical attraction, people are attracted to each other in several ways. This is why it is important to work on what the attraction is in the relationship in order to still desire your partner.

Little things can make a big difference in helping to keep the fire alive in a relationship. For instance, leaving a simple I love you note by the coffee pot. Just think how that would make you feel to find a note all along saying I love you. It would feel good right? Just to know that our partner is thinking of us makes us feel good. Try buying a simple card to say something that you are feeling or buy flowers sometimes. You don't have to spend a fortune to show someone that you love them, its the small things that they cherish most.

At least once a day you should express how you truly feel to your partner. What better way than just flat out telling them every day how much love and care for them. These are things that keep couples together forever and the things that we all want to here. Just doing little things for each other will keep both of you interested and in love with each other. So before considering a divorce, please give love a chance and save that wonderful marriage you both wanted to begin with.

How To Stop My Divorce

First off, if you were the one who made the determination to terminate the marriage and now you question, how can I stop my divorce? you should understand that you’re in a alot better situation than most people trying to salvage their relationships.  You’ll want to bury your pride and go to your partner with an apology.  Say that you behaived in haste and that now you regret it.  State that you no longer need the divorce, and maybe even that you never wished for it but you spoke out of anger and you were incorrect.

It’s essential for you to be really mature and content about it.  That’s not always simple to do.  Divorce is an emotional and agonizing thing.  But it’s one thing to weep while explaining that you need to stay married, and completely another to scream or end into hysterics.  If you yell, accuse or point fingers at your partner, you’re handing him or her even more motive to desire to get away from you. If you wish to learn ‘how to stop my divorce’ you have to let go of the emotions and bitterness you sense toward your partner for even bringing it up in the first place.

This might appear to a awkward step, but it’s essential.  Since you were the one to bring up the matter of divorce, your partner might have begun to really consider the situation and think that it’s the best idea, too.  When you want to know, “How to stop my divorce,” you want to hear what your partner thinks of the matter and make it clear that you were mistaken.  Unless they’ve had a heap of time and grounds to determine that you were correct and divorce is the optimum step, you can likely salvage the marriage just by saying you made a error in wanting a divorce.

If you’re questioning, “How can I stop my divorce when I didn’t desire it anyway,” then you have your job cut out for you.  You can state, without opion or accusations, that you believe the marriage is deserving of saving and that you don’t desire a divorce.  Chances are that you’ve done this, more than one time.  But the way you tell it can have a difference on the outcome.

You also have to be inclinded to work on your problems. You must accept that the relationship can’t go back to the way it was, but must change for the better.  Propose marital counseling.  Say, “I need to stop my divorce,” but get it clear you know your partner was miserable with the way things were, and you’re willing to make them better.
